Grant Purpose - The Genesee Area Focus Fund has partnered with a group of community leaders to form the Regional Leadership Council to create a proactive community-building project. The Regional Leadership Council recently completed Phase I, in which it identified key community issues to serve as an action agenda to help improve the social and economic environment of the greater Flint region and recreate the sense of entrepreneurialism which has been central to the history of this region. This grant increase will support Phase II of the Regional Leadership Council.
