Grant Purpose - This grant will provide continued support to the United Way of Genesee County for the Building Excellence, Sustainability and Trust (BEST) Nonprofit Capacity Building project, which is an initiative designed to build the capacity of Genesee County nonprofit organizations to meet the ever-increasing needs of their clients and the community. A third cohort of Genesee County nonprofit agencies will complete an organizational assessment and receive a first year of assistance with capacity building. The other funders of this local collaboration include the United Way of Genesee County, the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, and the Ruth Mott Foundation.
