Grant Purpose - Red Ink Studios - Flint, a project of the Genesee Area Focus Fund, is an artist movement that transforms underutilized buildings into free studio space for artists. Located in the Royalite building next to the Flint Farmers Market, Red Ink Studios - Flint has developed into an important contributor to Flint's art community by providing working studio space to artists and hosting frequent exhibitions and shows. This renewal grant will support the continued development of Red Ink Studios - Flint as an instrument of community revitalization.
