Grant Purpose - Through its Northern Great Lakes Forest Project, the Nature Conservancy, an international conservation organization, will protect more than 270,000 acres of forested land in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This grant increase will be used for additional acquisition and stewardship costs, bringing Mott's total commitment to the project to $10 million.
