Mott FoundationGrant Purpose - This grant will provide continued support to the University of KwaZulu-Natal for a partnership in philanthropy and social entrepreneurship with the Masters in International Studies in Philanthropy program based at the University of Bologna in Italy. This is a multidisciplinary program, which provides postgraduate training in all aspects of philanthropy through an accredited and recognized master's degree. In addition to an exchange in students between the University of KwaZulu-Natal and the University of Bologna, the institutions will expand and enhance the academic offerings to students, and joint research activities will provide additional philanthropy resources to the sector.
