Grant Purpose - The International Financial Flows and the Environment project of the World Resources Institute provides important research and data to nongovernmental organizations and key public and private institutions on international financial flows and public policy options. The overarching goal of the project is to improve the social and environmental performance of public and private international financial institutions by holding them accountable to their investors and to the communities in which they invest. With this renewal grant, the World Resources Institute will conduct research and analysis of the World Bank Group, the Inter-American Development Bank, and export credit agency policies; participate in debates and dialogues with key international financial institution officials; organize informational workshops; and provide technical expertise and guidance to private financial institutions in the development of their climate change and clean energy policies.
