Grant Purpose - This grant will support the work of the Stichting Forest Peoples Programme to promote sustainability in development finance. This project will ensure that the rights of forest peoples are respected by the World Bank Group, the Inter-American Development Bank, other regional development banks, and related private-sector mechanisms. This project will focus on the effective implementation of public and private international financial institutions' environmental and social standards, as well as other relevant international standards, that aim to safeguard critical forest habitats and the rights and interests of forest peoples.
