Catawba-Wateree Relicensing Coalition Grant

Organization - Catawba-Wateree Relicensing Coalition
Grant Amount - $20,000
Foundation - Mott Foundation
Grant Purpose - The relicensing of 13 large hydroelectric dams on the Catawba-Wateree River system in North and South Carolina is nearing completion. Prior funding to the Catawba-Wateree Relicensing Coalition, an organization representing diverse stakeholders, supported public education and outreach efforts and enabled the coalition to directly participate in the relicensing process. This renewal grant will support the coalition's continued engagement in the final stages of the relicensing process and the early stages of license implementation.
