Grant Purpose - This grant will provide coordination support for two important, national-level civil society coalitions in Peru working to improve the environmental and social sustainability of large-scale infrastructure and energy projects in Peru. Asociación Civil Labor will carry out strategic analysis, conduct workshops, and provide logistical support to a network working on the Camisea gas pipeline. It will provide similar support to an emerging coalition of Peruvian organizations that are concerned about the social and environmental impacts of major highway, hydroelectric dams, and other infrastructure being financed as part of the Initiative for Integration of Regional Infrastructure for South America.
