Grant Purpose - The Interfaith Education Fund was created in 1989 to assist organizations affiliated with the Industrial Areas Foundation in gaining influence over the conditions affecting their communities. The grantee provides professional organizing, research, and technical support for the affiliate organizations and has a record of success in the areas of economic development and education reform. This grant will provide general purpose support to the grantee so that it can become an increasingly flexible organization, building the capacity of its 27 member organizations in seven states in the areas of leadership training, staff supervision, professional organizer development, program evaluation, and issue research in response to the needs expressed locally.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
