Mott FoundationGrant Purpose - For more than 80 years, the United Way of Genesee County has supported a network of local nonprofit human service and health organizations. This general purpose grant will enable it to continue funding community programs that serve the needs of area residents. The United Way of Genesee County focuses its funding priorities in four areas: basic needs, child/youth development, strengthening families, and older adults. The organization also administers several large-scale projects, including the Bridges to the Future afterschool program; participates in numerous collaboratives; and serves as fiduciary for several area programs.
