Grant Purpose - This grant to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint is for the completion of the historic renovation of Atwood Stadium. The grant will enable the Atwood Stadium Authority to continue the renovation of the interior of the stadium and thereby complete its historic preservation initiative. Project activities include repairing walls around the playing field, replacement of missing brick and limestone and damaged concrete slabs, and renovation of the ticket booth at the west entrance.
