Two potters in Tryon, North Carolina, are competing in a charity event to see who can make the most clay bowls in 45 minutes.
The Pro Potter Throwdown will be held on Oct.
1 at Parker-Binns Vineyard in an effort to raise money for Thermal Belt Outreach's Empty Bowls initiative, the Times-News reports.
During the event, 119 clay bowls were made by local potters to go toward Thermal Belt Outreach's Empty Bowls initiative, which will take place on October 1 at Parker-Binns Vineyard.
Doug Dacey and Meghan Bernard tied in the Pro Potter Throwdown, each throwing 28 bowls in 45 minutes.
