Many nonprofits in Sierra Leone that partner with the government to prevent a wider outbreak have so far been successful.
During the 2014 Ebola outbreak, organizations like Medecins Sans Frontieres and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) provided emergency care, training, and infection control support.
