About Us
Camas-Washougal Community Chest kicks off 2025 fundraising efforts.
The annual fundraising drive began in October and hopes to raise $126,000 for the 2025 grants.
The Community Chest and its partners raised $134,000 in 2024, to support 34 grants and serve more than 19,500 individual services.
In 2024, for instance, the Community Chest's grants funded a wide variety of projects benefiting community members in need.

Acumen Invests on Rwanda-based Coffee, Helps Rural Women
Nonprofit impact investing firm, Acumen, has invested $1.2 million to KZ Noir, a Rwanda-based coffee processing company owned by Kaizen Venture Partners. The investment will equip KZ Noir the funds for working capital, debt refinancing, and capacity expansion.
