The Amador Senior Center recently announced that it received a $10,000 grant from the Calaveras Community Foundation.
Meals on Wheels is a nonprofit, home-delivered meals program that assists homebound adults 60 and older.
The program is currently serving 106 clients, compared to 92 clients last July.
Among those clients is a 90-year-old West Point woman, who began receiving meals through the program about seven weeks ago.
