The Ark River Valley+ Fund, a new fund from the Chaffee County Community Foundation, is offering up to $10,000 in funding for projects "that seek to improve inclusivity, enhance access to services, and promote a safe, healthy, and inclusive local community," the foundation's executive director says in a press release.
The fund, which is accepting letters of intent through July, "addresses critical needs in our regionfrom promoting inclusivity and safety for our LGBTQ+ community to supporting the essential childcare workforce and providing resources for the regional nonprofit community," the release notes.
The other two grants the foundation is offering: a childcare workforce investment fund, which will offer up to $10,000 to licensed childcare centers in Chaffee County, and a fall community grants program, which will offer $50,800 in funding to organizations in Chaffee, Custer, Fremont, and Lake Counties.
