The Delaware Community Foundation, an organization that manages charitable funds for individuals, families and organizations, has awarded a $22,000 grant to Kent-Sussex Industries Inc. (KSI).
The grant will be used for the renovation of the KSI's Health and Wellness Center. KSI, a nonprofit that offers training and employment services to individuals with disabilities in the area, continues to seek funding for the renovations.

Nonprofit impact investing firm, Acumen, has invested $1.2 million to KZ Noir, a Rwanda-based coffee processing company owned by Kaizen Venture Partners. The investment will equip KZ Noir the funds for working capital, debt refinancing, and capacity expansion.
