General Mills Foundation awarded a $50,000 Champions For Healthy Kids grant to the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi to be used to continue its preschool nutrition and physical activity program.
Ellen Goldberg Luger, vice president and executive director of the General Mills Foundation, praised the Community Foundation for a program that gets pre-school children off to a great start by teaching them valuable lessons in nutrition and physical fitness.
