The Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation announced five new grants nearly $750,000 (Ł466,000) that aim to enhance the abilities of oncology, general practice and public health nurses in the Czech Republic, Poland and Russia.

According to Presidanet John Damonti of Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, through a trusting relationships with patients, other health care providers and supportive services in the community, nurses can help ensure cancer patients receive the comprehensive and compassionate care they need and deserve.
