Grant Purpose - Three-year support to expand free spay/neuter procedures, in partnership with 160 veterinarians, for low-income residents with 'dangerous dogs,' resulting in an additional 500 procedures per year.

Amanda Foundation - $100,000 from the California Community Foundation - One-year support to expand spay/neuter services, adopt and rescue increased numbers of animals, conduct educational seminars and provide behavioral advice, and assist low-income, elderly and disabled populations with pet care.

Western University of Health Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine - $101,855 from the California Community Foundation - Two-year support for a mobile veterinary program to deliver spay/neuter services, vaccinations, diagnosis and treatment of homeless animals and those with low-income guardians.

Animal Avengers - $135,000 from the California Community Foundation - Three-year support to expand a Foster Home program for homeless dogs from 20 to 40 homes and provide transitional behavioral training to ensure successful placement of these dogs in permanent homes.
