Grant Purpose - This grant is to the Resources Legacy Fund Foundation to support the continuation of a successful public-private partnership with the State of California to implement the Marine Life Protection Act (MLPA) in the North-Central Coast region of the state. The grant also supports the work of non-governmental organizations in three regions along California's coast in order to strengthen the design, management, and implementation of this emerging network of marine protected areas.
