Grant Purpose - This grant to the San Diego State University adds two new metagenomic datasets to CAMERA, and establishes procedures to integrate externally-developed analytical methods of broad utility to the marine microbiology community into CAMERA LABS, an open access experimental web-based environment for testing of new bioinformatics tools. Outputs include new tools to enhance the community's ability to interpret metagenomic data and new visualization capability to CAMERA to allow users to better represent and understand how microbial communities respond to environmental variations.
