Grant Purpose - This grant will provide support to MDRC to continue the National Guard ChalleNGe Program Evaluation project. During the first phase of the project, MDRC developed a random assignment design for 3,000 students, selected 10 state ChalleNGe programs to participate in the study, and fielded a post-random assignment survey on earnings, education, and program experiences. Continued support will enable MDRC to complete the final phase of the project and examine the long-term effects of promising youth-serving programs.
