Grant Purpose - This planning grant to Goodwill Industries International, Inc., will support the development of a microenterprise model that can be replicated at the local level among Goodwills nationwide. Goodwill affiliates, who currently operate microenterprise ventures, are observing individuals from disadvantaged communities achieve the goal of long-term financial stability. The grantee will be able to collect information from the Atlanta Goodwill program, BusinessNOW, and other Goodwill microenterprise programs to determine what lessons can be learned and replicated in other affiliate locations.
