Grant Purpose - This general purpose support grant to the Michigan Nonprofit Association will allow it to continue and expand its work to strengthen the nonprofit sector in Michigan in the areas of accountability, governance, and transparency. During the grant period, the association will place special emphasis on public policy and advocacy work, including educating policymakers on critical issues impacting Michigan nonprofits, keeping the state's nonprofits informed of the issues that impact the sector, and providing tools to help nonprofits become more effective advocates.
