Charlevoix County Community Foundation

The foundation began in 1992, when a group of far-sighted civic leaders came together to discuss ways to build charitable capital for this community. With technical and financial support from the Frey Foundation in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and the Malpass Foundation in East Jordan, Michigan, the group soon established a community foundation to serve Charlevoix County.
