The Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan was established in 1999 by a committed group of individuals in SugarLoaf, NY, on the former residence of the artist Kurt Seligmann. The residence was converted to office space and is now becoming the regional center for philanthropy. The Seligman residence is also home to the Citizens Foundation of Orange County, which was instrumental in forming the Community Foundation.
