White Oak Foundation, Inc. was organized in 1998 in North Carolina to serve Wake, Durham, Chatham, Lee, Harnett, Johnston and Orange counties.
The foundation's mission and purpose is "Caring for the Total Person" through the implementation of programs and projects to address hunger, to promote home ownership and to establish economic self-reliance.

Establishing a Social Enterprise Curriculum
Several British colleges and universities have embraced social entrepreneurship in their curriculum. Pathik Pathak at Southampton have introduced n interdisciplinary module in Social Enterprise, which is open to students of all year groups and across all disciplines.
