The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation is one of the Broad Foundations that was established by the entrepreneur and philanthropist Eli Broad to advance entrepreneurship for the public good in education, science, and the arts.
The foundation's mission is to transform K-12 urban public education through better governance, management, labor relations, and competition; to make significant contributions to advance major scientific and medical research; to foster public appreciation of contemporary art by increasing access for audiences worldwide; and to lead and contribute to major civic projects in Los Angeles.
