The Bay Area Community Foundation works with individuals, families, businesses and organizations to create permanent endowment funds that help the region meet the challenges of changing times.
The Foundation invests and administers these funds and then uses their earnings to award grants each year to many of the humanitarian, educational and cultural organizations in this remarkable region.
The Foundation goes beyond simply making grants that advance charitable activities - it also identifies current and emerging issues, stimulate local resources to address those needs and help this region prepare for the future.
