If you're in need of a new set of wheels, the American Hospital Association has just the thing.
The not-for-profit group is rolling out a new set of wheelsthe first of its kind in the countrythat it says will make it easier for hospitals to deliver care, the Wall Street Journal reports.
The first set of wheels will be unveiled at the AHA's annual convention in Las Vegas next month.
They'll be able to transport patients from one hospital to another in as little as an hour, and they'll also allow hospitals to track how well they're doing, the Journal notes.
"It's going to be a game-changer," an AHA rep tells the Journal.
"It's going to save lives."
The first set of wheels will be unveiled at a celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month at Jefferson Health, one of the nation's largest not-for-profit hospitals.
