A Florida man is being called "one of the kindest, most giving people you'll ever meet" after he posted a note on Facebook asking for donations to help a veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder, the Orlando Sentinel reports.
The note, which can be seen here, reads in part: "Please send me a check made out to All American Veterans of Brevard and American Legion Post 420 to cover the costs of my medical expenses and travel to attend the Veterans Day Parade on Nov.

I am a veteran and have been in the military for over 30 years and have had to put up with some rough times.
I am asking for your help in any way I can to make sure that these brave men and women don't have to go through what I have had to go through.
