The Arizona Community Foundation has named its first-ever chief impact officer, a position that will oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at fostering statewide growth and community impact.
Michelle Gayles will take over for Anna Mar ? 'a Ch ?'vez, who says in a press release that Gayles "brings extensive experience and exceptional leadership, which will be instrumental in propelling our mission forward and expanding our impact."
Prior to joining the ACF, Gayles served as Chief Strategy Officer at Phoenix Union High School District, where she spearheaded long-term strategic planning, expanded the district's school portfolio, and ensured equitable access to quality education, per the release.
"As the Arizona Community Foundation's first Chief Impact Officer, I am honored to join this esteemed organization dedicated to ensuring our state welcomes growth, inclusion, and prosperity for all," says Gayles.
