If you've ever wondered what it's like to be a billionaire in China, you're in luck.

The country's state-run Xinhua News Agency has listed the net worth of the country's richest person, property developer Wang Jianlin, at a whopping $19.5 billion.

That's more than double the next-richest person in the world, Bill Gates, at $10.7 billion, and ahead of the next-richest person in the US, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison, at $10.3 billion.

Wang's net worth is actually higher than that of Alibaba founder Jack Ma, who is listed at $10.3 billion, but Wang's is significantly higher than that of Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma's wife, Teresa Ma, who is listed at $5.3 billion.
