The World Economic Forum and the SingHealth Global Health Institute have teamed up to create a "life sciences innovation ecosystem" in Asia, with the goal of helping the region's health care systems "meet patient needs through clinical and life-science innovations," per a press release.
But in the world of pharmaceuticals, there's a lot of red tape, and a lot of it is in Asia.
