Give More 24 is a 24-hour online fundraiser that's become an annual event in Washington state's Cowlitz County.
This year, it raised $3.6 million for local nonprofits, reports the Daily News.
The average donation was up about $8 from last year.
"I thought we did very well this year in Give More 24!" says a board member of the Ethnic Support Council of Cowlitz County. "I'm just really amazed at how generous people are."
