At a recent investment advisory committee meeting, Kosciusko County Community Foundation honored Michael Bergen for his work on the Finance & Investment Committee since 2014. Mike's investment and policy proposals are usually reasonable and transparent, stated Community Foundation CEO Stephanie Overbey.
We never questioned whether his judgments were in the best interests of the Community Foundation, its donors, and grant recipients. We consider him a friend, confidant, and advocate of the Community Foundation. Bergen is a partner with Alderfer Bergen & Co Retirement Planning in Warsaw.
He manages Alderfer Bergen & Co's investment portfolio design, execution, and monitoring.
In addition to Kosciusko County Community Foundation, he serves on Kosciusko County Home Care & Hospice and Cardinal Services boards.
The Community Foundation's aim is to inspire generosity and develop communities by bringing caring individuals and charitable causes together. The Community Foundation gives $3 million yearly to education, health, arts and culture, leisure, civic initiatives, environment, and human services.
