Following All-Star 2022 in Greater Cleveland, the NBA partnered with national charity Black Girl Ventures to host a competition for college-aged Black and Brown entrepreneurs to showcase their business ideas for a chance to win funding (BGV). The businesspeople are part of the NBA Foundation's BGV NextGen Program, which strives to provide student entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 24 access to capital, resources, and a community.

Fogle, a graduate of Claflin University, is the company's founder and CEO.

Lee, a Virginia Union University alumnus, is the company's founder and CEO.

Attendees and their networks may vote on the best pitches over the course of the next seven days to choose the second- and third-place winners, who will earn $6,000 and $2,000, respectively. Champions of the pitch tournament included: J.B.
