Belle Fourche Dairy Queen, along with 33 of the state's DQ restaurants, lead a fundraiser that donated at least $1 from every burger sold for the Rancher Relief Fund administered by the Black Hills Area Community Foundation.
The Knapps made the official awarding of the $40,888 in funds on behalf of the restaurants to Silvia Christen, executive director of South Dakota Stockgrowers. The Belle Fourche Dairy Queen also supports the community through the Children's Miracle Network in 1984. And, the Knapps continue to encourage community activities such as CONBA, the Chamber, Youth Soccer, the RoundUp, and Post Prom among others.
