The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Foundation plans to allocate 150 grants in 2013 that are worth up to $1,000 to support health programs in Kansas schools.
The grants will enable these programs to promote healthy eating habits and maximize physical activity to lower risks of cardiovascular diseases. School staff will also get to use the grant money for health care equipment and supplies provision.
