The Moody Foundation annually hosts an internet based competition called "Moody's Mega Math Challenge" to high school students. Teams comprise of three to five students that are given an applied math-modeling challenges.
The foundation awards $100,000 scholarship grants, and says that the challenge is designed to increase interest in and encourage high school students to pursue math-related courses and careers.
