The Greater New Orleans Foundation has recently announced the availability of $300,000 to nonprofit organizations working to meet the most pressing needs of individuals and families in several communities.
The target areas of the funding are Jefferson, Lafourche, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, Tangipihoa, and Terrbonne.
