The California Community Foundation gave away new grants totaling $5,135,500 to nonprofit organizations throughout Los Angeles.
The grants are funded by discretionary charitable funds that were established by their previous donors that subsequently entrusted and invested to the foundation. The grants they give away are usually two-year awards based n the proposals and the criteria.
