A Norwalk native and graduate of Brien McMahon High School and degree holder in economics and political science from Illinois Western University, Alison Riith, of Darien, has been hired as Development and Philanthropic Services Assistant for the Fairfield County Community Foundation. With Riith are previous experience in private school and non-profit organizations, an experience as the project and financial coordinator at a market research firm that included responsibilities such as monthly financial reporting, event coordination and project support.

Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
