Akron Community Foundation Awards $42800 in Grants to Local Children's Organizations
Foundation: Akron Community Foundation
The Millennium Fund for Children is a partnership between the Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com and Akron Community Foundation.
The permanent endowment supports arts, civic, education and health and human services projects for children in Summit, Portage, Medina, Stark, Wayne and Cuyahoga counties.
The fund awarded grants to the following organizations this year:ACCESS, Inc.: $1,000 to provide meals, clothing, health assessments and academic support.
