The Center for Responsive Politics received a two-year, $400,000 grant being one of the nine recipients of grants from the MacArthur Foundation as part of its initiative to help strengthen democratic institutions in the U.S.
The Center will use the grant to maintain its national campaign finance databases, publish original research, develop new online tools, and provide training on campaign finance information to journalists and the public.
