A $150,000 grant from the WK Kellogg Foundation has been awarded to the Salvation Army of Battle Creek which will be used over the next two years to reach out and assist local families with children through the "Healthy Kids Build Strong Families" initiative.
The foundation supports children, families and communities as they strengthen and create conditions that propel vulnerable children to achieve success as individuals and as contributors to the larger community and society.
