Several nonprofit organizations in Marin County have recently expressed that they are working towards raising funds in order to keep two state parks in operation.
These parks are name China Camp State Park and Olompali State Historic Park; they are among the 70 parks that could be closed on because of an $11 million shortfall in California Department of Parks and Recreation's 2011-2012 budget.
