Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria

Japan contributed $340 million to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria. Meanwhile, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation also contributed $750 million to the Global Fund.

In the international health arena, activists going to the World Health Organization or to the members of the European Economic Community are told to check in with the Gates Foundation because that's where the money really is.
